From the Beginning
I have created this blog to track my beard and gains for 2015. 2014 was a peculiar year for me, well every year is. I've had to redefine my entire lifestyle. By redefine I mean everything. It all started in Feb. I was at my peak weight 290, my ankles were bad and my eyesight was acting wonky. I would randomly get blurred vision and sometimes double vision. I knew something had to be done or something would inevitably do me in. I started to slowly watch what I ate, and began to drink more water. It was a slow transition at first. Then after dropping about 30 lbs, I joined the gym. After embarrassingly finding out that I am not 18 anymore, I started making slow progress. There was a point there in the beginning that I was barely pushing any weight. My muscles needed time to get stronger and grow.
A few months later I decided to break up with Fitness Connection and make the jump to LOCKOUT in Mckinney, TX. This is where I began to grow as a person. This entry is the first of many, but I will be tracking my beard and any muscke gains I make for 2015. Lets not forget bruises. See I have a habit of learning the hard way with everything, but man when I set my mind to something, its the same thing that happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.
So heres to the first entry of many. I'm going to try to make this daily so that I can try to show progress. Of course nothing is without pictures. Here is where this blog begins and where I'm at
This is me Beard and all. Hand was busted while jogging. I was attacked by a boxer.
This is where bruises happen. Even in fitness injuries occur at the oddest of times.
This photo was taken inevitably just minutes before my attack. Funny how that worked out.
The more I look at this photo the more I realize just how long this journey has taken me. I do have people who are reserved about my acheivments, but as the Irish say "Fuck em" haha.
